If you are serious about football, then this is the college for you. Football is embedded throughout our curriculum providing you with opportunities to represent Everton College, (both male and female) in national and local competitions as well as the potential to play against other football academies.

Our offer is inclusive, we run performance and participation teams across a variety of leagues.

There is the opportunity to train daily, if coaching and analysis is more your thing then it is possible to become involved  with this across all our sites.

Our male and female teams train separately and benefit from fully qualified and experienced coaches who develop each player and team. All coaches work under our Head Coach, Joe Parkinson and our Head of Football, John Keegan who operates all our teams, fixtures and football trips and experiences.

We offer pre-season training during the last two weeks of August for all our students. This is a chance to get to know your fellow students and players and to ensure that your fitness and match play is ready for the start of the new season.

Alongside our league and cup competitions, we are fortunate enough to be invited to the Dallas Cup each Easter, the New York Cup each July and we attend the World School Games in Spain during October. We are proud that we are current World School Champions (Oct 2022) and look forward to retaining this title this October when we are invited to take both our male and female teams across to Barcelona.

This success on and off the pitch enables our students to move onto positive destinations through university degrees, US scholarships or working alongside Everton in the Community on one of their many sport development projects which benefit our local community.

Women's' Development programme

We are ambitious in our outlook for all students. The opportunity for women within football and education has seen our offer grow from 14 students, to what may be over 60 female students this September within two years, developing a pathway for them to play and train within academy football, gain US scholarships or progress to university through a first-class education and football experience.

We are extremely proud to work in partnership with Everton Women's Academy to facilitate a pathway for progression for those students who display the attributes and skills needed to play at academy level.

We work closely with the education lead for the academy to facilitate opportunities that are Nil Satis Nisi Optimum for our students and combine education alongside football opportunities.

Under our Head coach, our teams have enjoyed a successful season this year playing in the National Youth Premier League against other academy teams. We will be the first college to showcase female talent at the World School Games and our talent is represented through the Dallas Cup each Easter.

"The Nil Satis Nisi Optimum motto of Everton Football Club runs throughout the college as we aim to inspire you to become the best you can be and help you achieve your full potential.
