Tim Waldron

College Role: English GCSE Tutor

I started teaching English as a Foreign Language when I moved to Greece in 1998 for 6 years as a church worker. I can speak fluent Greek and enjoyed travelling around the country learning the culture and sampling the food!

Upon my return I moved to Liverpool and studied English Literature and Sociology at Liverpool Hope University and completed my PGCE at Manchester University. I worked in a variety of secondary schools teaching English in Liverpool and Lancashire, before joining Everton Football College in 2015. I support our sixth form students who wish to improve their grades in GCSE English preparing them in class and online for their examinations.

My main hobbies are reading and running, with fells and hills being my favourite terrain. I’m learning Italian, slowly. I also follow football; I am a supporter of Gloucester Ruby Club and Toronto Blue Jays (baseball).
