USA Scholarships

Some of our students express an interest in studying in America combining this with a football scholarship. Our staff are experienced in supporting our students through this process. We have established contacts with whom we liaise for the best suited offer for our students. This process involves video footage of players, meetings with potential scholarship colleges and Universities and help with the application process.

  • Rose State College (US Scholarship), Oklahoma - BSc Health & Sport Science

After achieving MMM on his BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport Michael accepted a Soccer scholarship at Rose State College in Oklahoma City. Michael said "I was excited and nervous but mainly excited at the prospect of playing Soccer in America". Michael firmly believes that his two years studying at Football College stood him in good stead and prepared him well for his undergraduate degree which combines Soccer with Sport Science.

Going from a small town like Formby to a huge City in Oklahoma was quite a shock to Michael especially with the very high temperatures that he had to get used to. When he first arrived in August 2017 the average daily temperatures were very high in the mid 30 degrees. His major is Health & Sports Science. Michael now shares an apartment with other scholars who originate from Congo, Italy and the UK. Michael said that "he loves being at Rose State College and I am looking forward to the next semester."

  • Aeronautical Engineering

Everton Football College was the best decision I have ever made for both my football and education. Joining the college opened so many opportunities for me and I am now studying a degree in Aerospace with a placement at NASA. Engineering while playing soccer for my college in America. My development as a person and a player excelled under the excellence guidance of the Everton College staff and students. This combined with my grades gained traction in the US and helped me to gain a US Scholarship. I will be forever grateful for the learning and experiences that the college gave me and I can’t praise them enough for the work that they do with all students.
