Typically, students also resit GCSE English and/or maths alongside this qualification
You will be assessed through a portfolio-based folder, containing all the core knowledge you need to deliver sessions, including evidence of taking part in practical and class based activities. You need to demonstrate an interest in working with children, adults and participants with disabilities working towards developing their skills, and confidence within sport sessions. You will be based in school for two to three days each week whilst the remainder of the week will be spent in the community undertaking work experience organising and running sport sessions.
