Honouring HRH Prince Philip

Everton Free School and Sixth Form College staff and students honoured the passing of HRH Prince Philip today, by placing a commemorative plaque on the inner wall of our Spellow Lane school garden.

Over 50 staff and students were present, as the service of HRH took place at Windsor Castle. Our Principal, Richard Cronin, was interviewed by Sky News, as were our students. They were asked what the day meant to them, as well as about their time spent in the school and college.

The students also took part in painting on canvas, and in planting flowers in the garden, which will now grow and be enjoyed by future staff and students.
